Your Tuesday Village Update #44

January 26, 2021

Dear Villagers,

As we watched the Inauguration last Wednesday, we witnessed Amanda Gorman proclaim her poem, The Hill We Climb. You can watch her recitation again at this link. Included on the page, below the recorded recitation, are the poem's words so you can read it at your leisure to get a deeper understanding of its message. Our National Youth Poet Laureate is definitely a master of the English language and makes it sing. For more insight into Amanda Gorman's use of her unique voice, watch her talk from 2019
