Members who request services have met some of our wonderful volunteers, those gracious people who love nothing better than helping others. We are very grateful for all they do for our Villagers.
There is another group of volunteers who work behind the scenes to keep the Village afloat. They manage finances, bring on new members, orient new volunteers, pay insurance bills, file required state and federal documents, attend Board and team meetings, schedule Village Talks and activities (dinners, field trips, nature walks), manage service requests, maintain the website and Village data, and perform so many other tasks.

Find Board Members and Village Builders (those who help run the Village)

- Do the following:
- Click Board of Directors to see those who run the Village.
- Click Village Builders to see those who keep the Village active and its members engaged.
Are You Game?
The Village is donating a dozen board games to the Newburyport Senior Center. In exchange, the Council on Aging has invited us to host a monthly Village game event at the Center. The event could last 1-2 hours and center on one game, like charades or trivial pursuit, or the choice of game could change each month. Participation would be open to the public, although Village members would have priority. We need a Village volunteer to plan, coordinate, and facilitate these events. If you are interested in doing so, please let us know by calling the Village or responding to this email.

Do you have an item you want to donate, lend, or borrow? Email services@greaternewburyportvillage.org and include your name, phone number, the item description, and whether you want to donate, lend, or borrow it.
Important Reminders
- When requesting services, please...
- Call the Village number (not a volunteer directly) between the hours of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Call 48 hours prior to the date of service to give volunteers time to respond.
- If you need help with groceries, call the Village to request a Market Basket gift certificate.
