Dear Villagers,
Fun news! The Port Gingerbread Festival (PGF) team will be walking in the Yankee Homecoming Parade on August 2, 2026 (12:00PM - 3:00PM) and they are inviting Greater Newburyport Village members to march with them. You can wear whatever you like but they would be thrilled to see their brand colors of gingerbread brown, icing white, green, and red!

|
PGF will proudly display their banner as Gingerbread Jack, their mascot, leads the way from the intersection of Moseley Avenue and Ferry Road (near Atkinson Common), along High Street, to State Street (~1.6 miles).
A personal PGF invitation:
"May we include you on our parade participant list? If so, please email info@portgingerbread.org. Your support means a great deal to our organization as well as to our designated charitable beneficiary, Nourishing the Northshore. Thank you for your consideration!" |
The Village remembered past members Betty Lavender, Victor Atkins, and Russ Seidel at this year's Lantern Festival on the Frog Pond. We will miss them.
