Village Meet-up: Addison Gallery of American Art

We’ll meet at the Addison to see three new and fascinating exhibitions. In Reggie Burrows Hodges, Turning a Big Ship painter Hodges “contemplates the notion of turning a big ship—of marshaling collective will and labor to resist a powerful current.” Free Association: New Acquisitions in Context features new works alongside older acquisitions and Sea Change presents “seascapes, maritime art, and model ships to explore the ocean and its shores as spaces of labor, leisure, passage, and danger.”
