Fun Activities to Enjoy at Home
- Register now now for the 2021 Newburyport Literary Festival, April 23 - 25. There's something for everyone in this three-day, virtual event.
- Read the winning poetry, short story, and essay entries from the 2020 Newburyport Adult Education writing contest titled "The Silver Lining of Shelter at Home." (One of our hard working Village members is among the winners.)
- A short biography of the artist organized as 10 Amazing Facts about Georgia O’Keeffe and illustrated by many examples of her work.
- “Not all heroes wear capes.” So begins the story of this Indonesian eco-warrior whose twenty-four year, tree planting project has turned arid hills green.
- Marcelito Pomoy, a Filipino singer, wows the judges on America’s Got Talent. His voice slides effortlessly from tenor to soprano and back as he sings The Prayer.
- Here’s a chance to see snowy owls on Plum Island with video shot in February this year on the rocks and in the marshes.
